(from page 44 of the 2008 Collection) This 2008 Mustang FR500S has Red and Blue racing stripes as well as a rear spoiler, bolted on rear quarter panel windows, and performance gas cap door. The Mustang FR500S starts with a Mustang GT and the 4.6L V8 engine but has improved handling, improved aerodynamics, DOT approved racing tires, and engine upgrades to 325hp.

(from page 44 of the 2008 Collection) The FR500S Mustang was designed by Ford Racing and Miller Motorsports for the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge series and featured Ford's all aluminum 4.6L V8 engine rated at 325HP. This 2008 Performance White FR500S was at the 2010 Mustang Club of America Grand Nationals car show in Bellevue, Washington. It has a Ford Racing window net, Ford Racing rear wing, and BFGoodrich tires (g-Force R1 DOT Race Tires, 245/40-ZR18).

The FR500S is not street legal and is therefore not given a DOT VIN, but a unique Ford Racing number is assigned. These cars are all build in Flat Rock, Michigan as a standard Mustang, but with Ford Racing options. For Ford, the 500S is the first race car built on its standard production line.

(from page 45 of the 2008 Collection) Awesome side view of the Mustang GT with Ford Racing graphics focused on the FR500S which was designed with Miller Motorsports. You cannot drive on the street with an FR500S, but you can with this one.

(from page 3 of the 2009 Collection) Performance White 2009 Mustang GT California Special convertible owned by Annie Gagnon from Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. Annie tells us, "My nick name is 'Mustang Girl Annie'. I have a GT/CS with horse tattoo on my back and a Mustang horse and Mustang in script on my leg. My husband bought me my first stang in 2007 - a gorgeous 2000 LX convertible silver. That was her name too, for saying thank you for supporting him and my kids while he was in Afghanistan for 8 months. Oh my - it started a crazy passion, added parts, joined the Gatineau Mustang club, got the tats, and sold it in 2009 to realize my dream of buying a GT/CS. It happened on January 26 2009. It will be mine for ever. I just added a few interior chrome parts, a custom tonneau cover, and a Roush CAI. I'm thinking of having a custom 'support our troops' ribbon painted on my hood depending of the price. It would be my way of saying thank you to my husband and all the soldiers for what they do for our Country. Be safe and let's ride the pony :-) Mustang Girl Annie."
