This color is very close to the late model Saleen special order orange called Beryllium. Compare to this 2007 Saleen in Beryllium orange paint. Autumn Orange was only available on the Mustang in 1997 and 1998.

Essentially no mods other than light bar, chin spoiler, and under hood chrome kit. This car is 1 of only 408 GT convertibles in this color; 177 automatics and 231 5-speeds." "I am the 2nd owner and have had the my Cobra GT-R for less than a year. I purchased it with 6,000 original miles. The car was modified by Ford to honor their 2004 Mustang GT-R shown at the auto show. It was outfitted with Ford racing internals, wheels, tires, and interior."

Attitude Of The Week for the week starting February 10, 2020. Mike tells us more,
"This car was purchased new by us on July 19th, 2004. After much research, we found there were only 408 Mustang GT convertibles produced in Competition Orange - 171 automatics and 231 standards. After all the years of ownership and 92,000 Kilometers (55,000 miles), the car still wins awards at car shows in the stock category. The only modifications have been a Mach 1 chin spoiler, a light bar and a K&N Cold Air intake system. We still get many looks from people due to the color however now they are also impressed with the condition of a car which is this old and driven this much. The car has never seen snow or a gravel road."

But it did make an appearance on the Mustang Back in 1970 along with other bright Grabber colors (blue and green). Click here to see some 1970 Mustangs in Grabber Orange. The color is similar to the yellow-orange of many school buses.

The 2007 model has unique suspension tuning, springs, anti-roll bars, bushings, shock valving, a ride-height reduction, hood scoop, rear spoiler, special wheels, and a 475hp engine!
