This Player's Cigarette Mustang advertisement shows some of the previous winners. This ad says that 5 will be given away each week starting on August 2nd and ending August 30th. It also shows 10 photo graphs of Mustangs given away last year which was actually between early November 1965 and late January 1966. This ad was placed int he July 18th, 1966 edition of the Lethbridge Herald of Lethbridge, Alberta.

Here are 3 of the 5 winners for the July-August 1966 Player's contest giving away special blue and white Mustangs color matched to the cigarette package. Miss Betty Jean Munro of Calgary is shown in the upper left ad that was in the August 22nd, 1966 edition of The Lethbridge Herald, of Lethbridge, Alberta. The second Player's Smoker of the week is Mrs. V Asuchak of Fort Macleod in an ad is from the August 27th, 1966 edition of of the same newspaper. Mrs. R J Kwasnie of Lethbridge, Alberta is the last winner in a September 9th, 1966 ad.

Wimbledon White 1967 Mustang fastback with a saddle interior. It has a 289 V8 engine, 4-speed manual transmission, and a 3.73 rear. The engine is original. The original rear was a 3.83.

This is the original 289ci engine. It has been rebuilt with a smaller cam, aluminum Edelbrock intake, a Holley 650 carburetor, shorty headers, Cobra valve covers, and a Cobra air cleaner.

The interior is Saddle in color. This is a light shade of brown. It has a 4-speed manual transmission. You can see the modified H pattern on the shifter knob. The four forward gears are at the end of each part of the H. Reverse is hard over to the left and down.

White 1968 Mustang hardtop owned by Lacy Austin from Kinston, North Carolina. Lacy tells us, "She was a weekend racer in Winston Salem, NC before the late owner became sick. He let me have the car for next to nothing. His best trophy was 'The Eliminator 2005 Super Street Class'. He said, 'Just have fun with it'. I named her Bad Co. and spent the last two years modding and making it street legal. Too many mods to list. If ever a car had 'ATTITUDE' this would be it."
