He says that it is all original with 40k miles; major options are a 302 V8, automatic transmission, A/C, the Silver Luxury Edition package, cast aluminum wheels and trunk luggage rack.

(from page 4 of the 1975 Collection) This is an advertisement for the 1975 Special Silver Ghia Mustang II which has the optional Silver Luxury Group. Features of the Silver Luxury Group include the exterior Silver metallic paint, silver classic half vinyl roof, opera windows, moon-roof, body-contoured bucket seats in cranberry crushed velour, thick carpeting inside and in the trunk, instrument panel framed in burled walnut wood-tone trim, tachometer, quartz crystal clock, and standard Mustang II Ghia features.

(from page 5 of the 1977 Collection) Silver 1977 Mustang Cobra hatchback owned by Timothy Brown from Washington. The front bumper has been painted silver and the stripes are wrapped around it as well. Timothy says that he got it about a month ago.

(from page 5 of the 1977 Collection) The front grille and headlight bezels are painted black.

(from page 5 of the 1977 Collection) The rear bumper is painted silver and the stripes extend over it as well. Silver was a special order color in 1977. I wonder what color this was originally.

(from page 5 of the 1977 Collection) Silver 1977 Mustang II Mach 1 hatchback owned by Paul from Jackson, Michigan. Silver was a special order color in 1977. This one has the 2.8L engine and manual transmission. Paul had this story to share, "I had just moved to Michigan from Texas. My Father (Doug) had been into car shows and got me interested. LOL when he said, 'I found you a Mustang, lets go look at it.' When we drove up he said, 'There it is.' I said, 'Where?' He said, 'There.' I saw the car and I said, 'No, that is not a Mustang. That is a POS! Where is the pony?' He said, 'On the front and the back.' I looked and said, 'Oh, Mustang II.' It is all original."

(from page 5 of the 1977 Collection) Here is Paul's silver 1977 Mustang II Mach 1 at a car show.

(from page 19 of the 1978 Collection) Check out this silver 1978 Mustang II Cobra II - it has a lot of custom work. The stock bumpers have been shaved. That is an early Mustang model bumper. The rear has one too. It has a custom hood scoop and lower front valance. The car has been lowered 3-inches. Those are 16-inch Centerline Scorpion wheels.

(from page 7 of the 1979 Collection) David Fowler sends us this photo set of his 1979 Mustang with optional 5.0L V8, two tone Silver over black exterior paint, and custom wheels. David says, I'm the only owner, I bought it from my sister-in-law . Two weeks after I bought it, it was hit by a hail storm.

(from page 7 of the 1979 Collection) David's 1979 Mustang is in very good condition. There were no Mustang GT's in 1979, but this is the closest thing since it has the optional 302ci V8 under the hood.

(from page 7 of the 1979 Collection) Another nice view of David's 1979 Mustang in Silver over black exterior paint. The black custom wheels look very good on this car.

(from page 8 of the 1979 Collection) Magazine ad showing a silver 1979 notchback at the top and a smaller red fastback below. The ad says, "The New Breed" - referring to the new body style introduced in 1979. The ad goes on to say, "Presenting a whole New Breed of Mustang for 1979. Dramatic new sports car styling gives this Mustang one of the most efficient aerodynamic designs of any car now built in America. With sports car features like a modified MacPherson front suspension, four-bar link rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, and front stabilizer bar, all Mustangs have precise handling to help flatten corners."

(from page 9 of the 1979 Collection) I spotted this Pewter 1979 Mustang Indianapolis 500 Pace Car at the 2010 Mustang and Ford car show at Uftring Ford in East Peoria, Illinois. This is the first time I've seen one of these in person. The graphics on this car are pretty neat in person.
