Here is a photo of Emmanuel's 1967 Shelby GT350 fastback when it was new at the WHOO radio station in Orlando, Florida, in its darker Medium Gray or Thunderbird Charcoal Gray exterior paint. I like the lighter Silver Frost gray better!

Check out this "special order paint" Silver 1967 Mustang hardtop. It's owned by Louis de Rooij from Switzerland. This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting January 15, 2012. Louis adds, "I bought it 6 years ago. The car was driven in St. Moritz until July 4 1979 then it was standing still in a garage until November 2005. Original 67000km when I got it. I think it was repainted once but I don't know when." This Mustang has it's original 289 4v engine and an automatic transmission.

This is a series of advertisements we found for a Super Valu Silver Anniversary Mustang sweepstakes which featured 7 silver 1967 Mustangs; and 100, 16 inch scale, electric, model Mustangs. Judging from the advertisement and the 1967 Mustang colors, we believe all 7 Mustangs were silver frost and were hardtops. At the time, Super Valu was mainly in the upper Midwest. This ad was placed by Hood's Super Valu in the January 17th, 1967 edition of the Algona Upper Des Moines newspaper of Algona, Iowa. Who won these Mustang? We're celebrating Super Valu's power-packed Silver Jubilee featuring free Mustangs for you... 7 big ones for you to drive, 100 battery-operated scale models for you car buffs and your youngsters. This is an enlarged version of the previous ad to show the sweepstakes' details. The electric Mustang models were all Brittany Blue fastbacks which had a forward and reverse gears as well as working headlamps, taillights, and dash instrument lights. They look like the Wen Mac 1967 Ford Mustangs similar to the 1966 ones dealers gave out the year before. This ad was placed by Hood's Super Valu in the January 17th, 1967 edition of the Algona Upper Des Moines newspaper of Algona, Iowa.

This is part of a Super Valu corporate advertisement for the seven silver Mustangs given away in the Super Valu 25 Silver Jubilee sweepstakes. The sweepstakes ran from January 11th through January 28th, 1967. The winners were announce in February of 1967. This ad was in the January 24th, 1967 edition of the Appleton Post-Crescent newspaper of Appleton, Wisconsin.

Silver Frost 1967 Mustang convertible owned by Salima Stache from Germany. It has the 289ci 2V engine and an automatic transmission. Salima tells us, "I owned this car since 2011. The car is a special colored car with a 6 digit D.S.O. According to the Marti Report it is one of two cars with these special package. They were identical twins which were bought by the same car dealer in Texas. The DSO for this car is 62-4073. The Dealer was; Jack Roach Ford, 3200 Bissonet, Houston Texas 77005. Salima found, "The 2nd owner told me he got the car in great shape back then with the original silver color and only had to repair the a/c, the convertible top, and do an inspection."

Light Pewter 1973 Mach 1 Mustang owned by Bill Pletcher from Lebanon, Pennsylvania. This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting March 17, 2013. The body restoration was done in 2011 at The Auto Hut in Annville, Pennsylvania. During the restoration these items were added; front chin spoiler, hood pins (twist type), painted hood blackout, black rear window louvers, full center console with clock, radiator overflow tank, and two sets of wheels - 15" slotted aluminum (shown) and 15" magnum 500s. Performance items include; original performance 351ci Cleveland 2V V8(rebuilt 6/2/97 at 131,125 miles), ram air, Edelbrock performer intake with 4bbl 600 cfm carb, Petronix ignition, Hedman longtube headers, dual exhaust with Flowmaster 40 series mufflers, Competition suspension, power steering, power front disc brakes, and FMX Cruise-O-Matic transmission (rebuilt Nov 2004).

Silver 1974 Mustang II notchback coupe owned by Dale Dockus from Memphis, Tennessee. It has the 2.8L V6 engine and an automatic transmission. Dale tells us more, "I purchased this from original owner in 2006, but blew a rod on drive back to Memphis! Replaced block before bringing home. Repainted August 2009. My wife had bought an original Mustang II in 1974 but it rusted out!"

Silver 1975 Mustang II owned by Blair Beebe from Oklahoma. Blair tells us, "I bought it for $500. The guy said it was undriveable due to tie rods, but it ran good. The original motor and trans runs great. I had to 'customize' the exhaust, add new window, new tie rods. and front shocks. I still need to get to rear shocks."
