(from page 15 of the 1969 Collection) This is a Flower Power Red 1969 Limited Edition 600 Mustang fastback. As with all 600s this one has the standard 200ci 6-cylinder engine. It was originally bought in on June 19th, 1969 from Owen Ford in Vineland New Jersey for $2802. It was stock number M336. This Mustang still looks new! Only 508 Limited Edition 600s were produced. They only came in Flower Power Red or Groovy Green.

(from page 15 of the 1969 Collection) These Limited Edition 600 decals are on the front fenders just behind the wheel openings.

(from page 15 of the 1969 Collection) The couple I have seen so far each have the hood scoop. The door data tag has a blank in the paint code indicating a special order paint (Flower Power Red in this case). This one has a DSO of 16-2783 (the 5 is for the axle). All Limited Edition 600's were in the 2783-2788 order range.

(from page 17 of the 1969 Collection) The only way you could get the 302ci V8 engine in a Mustang, was to purchase a Boss 302. This engine put out 290 horse power. This motor is a Boss 302 C8FE Trans Am racing block, with a .020 overbore, Viniola forged pistons, ARP rod bolts, Melling H/V oil pump, Mildon water pump, C9ZE heads ported with Manley severe duty valves, Ford motorsports springs, 1.6 Ford SVO roller rockers, C9Z factory aluminum intake, a D0ZE Boss crank turned .010/.010, and a with a 70 Boss balancer.

(from page 17 of the 1969 Collection) The interior in this Boss 302 is black.

(from page 17 of the 1969 Collection) Here is a shot of the rear seat. They called the fastback a 2+2 because you could put two people in the front seats and two in the back. The rear seat looks tight an uncomfortable.

(from page 38 of the 1969 Collection) Competition Orange 1969 Shelby GT500 Mustang at the 2010 Mustang Roundup car show in Tampa, Florida. Competition Orange was a special order color in 1969 and shares the same paint codes with 1964 Mustang Poppy Red which was later called Calypso Coral. There is also newer versions of Competition Orange including it on the 2012 Boss 302 Mustang.

(from page 5 of the 1970 Collection) Calypso Coral 1970 Mustang Boss 302 with a 290hp (at 5800rpm), 302 cubic inch, V8 only available in 1970 for the Boss. This car has been faithfully restored to its original specifications. The new paint is Calypso Coral PPG Deltron Acrylic Urethane; and the hood stripes, rear deck, and taillight panel are properly painted with PPG DDL-9381 textured black-out paint. Sometimes in photographs the black Boss stripes are so reflective, they come out white; but these stripes were originally and still are black highly reflective stripes. This car also has Magnum 500 chrome wheels option ($129 originally).
