(from page 7 of the 1990 Collection) This is a Medium Cabernet 1990 Mustang LX 5.0 with the Police Car SSP (Special Service Package). It was originally owned by the Santa Clara County California Sheriff's Department. Check out the other pictures - the owner added some of the Police Equipment (non-functioning).

(from page 7 of the 1990 Collection) Medium Cabernet 1990 Mustang LX 5.0 SSP Police Car, right rear view. Two antennas is about the only giveaway that this is a Police Car from the outside.

(from page 7 of the 1990 Collection) The engine is clean. The biggest one avail was used on the SSP package - the 5.0L V8.

(from page 7 of the 1990 Collection) The interior is gray. It has the automatic transmission. You cannot see the extra Police radio equipment the owner added in this angle.

(from page 7 of the 1990 Collection) The original Police equipment was removed when the car was de-commissioned. But the owner added some non-functional equipment. It has the Motorola radio and Kustom radar unit with front and rear antennas. See the switches to the left of the console - down low? I bet that is the switches for the front and rear radar antennas. That way you can catch speeders from behind or in front. This would be an interesting car to drive around.

(from page 7 of the 1990 Collection) Part of the Police Car SSP (Special Service Package) is this certified calibrated 160mph speedometer. See the label under the speedometer - distorted by the trip odometer control?

(from page 7 of the 1990 Collection) Not sure if this is part of the Police Car SSP (Special Service Package). An automatic riffle and trunk mount! This was installed by the owner and is not functional. Imagine opening your trunk at the grocery store - you'll have people running in all directions!
