(1 photo of a 1966 Candy Apple Red Mustang Convertible) "Aunt Myrna, if you ever want to sell your Mustang, let us know." This is what Allan and Nancy Eisentraut told their aunt Myrna of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin. Myrna bought the car new in 1966, drove it for years, then stored it in her garage for 16 years, untouched. Finally, one day in 1986, Allan and Nancy, got a call from Myrna. She wanted to sell them the car. Allan went there with his mechanic son. They pulled the Mustang out of the garage with the tires sliding on the ground. They were froze up with rust. After pounding the rust off the wheels to get them to turn; then taking the spark plugs out, pouring oil into the spark plug holes; and pouring gas into the carburetor, the Mustang started up - surprisingly, even with the old battery. It was quite rusty and a body man told them not to wait too long to have it taken car of. Within a year, the car had been repainted. Everything is still original on the car, right down to the plaid carpet in the trunk. This was our featured Attitude Of The Week picture for 8-26-07.

(1 photo of a 1966 Candy Apple Red Mustang Hardtop) This has got to be the best BEFORE and AFTER photo I have seen.

(1 photo of a 1967 Aspen Red Mustang Ski Country Special Hardtop) This is a rare 1967 Mustang Ski Country Special hardtop owned by Frank Recupero from Okhurst, California. Frank says, I found this special ordered Mustang Ski Country Special on cars.com. I had been looking for a decent 289 Mustang for about a year and found this in my back yard the next town over Coarsegold, California. Owned it for one year and 6 months, I got curious and ran the VIN#. It kept coming up special ordered, so I got more curious and ordered a Marti Report. The Marti Report solved the special order, it was something I never knew existed. What's a Ski Country Special? I did some more research and I'm very happy I did. This is 1 of 247 Ski Country Specials produced according to the Marti Report. I did very little mods. I had painted black stripes and new rims and dual exhaust on it. The rest of the car is stock. I also recovered the original badge for this model. I called the original owner up and asked her what was so special about the car; and she said her dad ordered it as a special model and there was some kind of badge that went on the decklid that was never put back on the car after one repaint. The owner asked me if I wanted the badge and I said sure; and now it's on the rear decklid where the dealer installed it in 1967.

(1 photo of a 2007 Redfire Red Mustang GT Convertible) How's this for a cool shot! It's Frank Szymkowski's Redfire 2007 Mustang GT convertible. Frank tells us, "I have owned the car for two years and have enjoyed it and shown it at local shows the entire time. What makes this car rare is the combo of the rear spoiler delete, Redfire paint(last year for this color), and chamois premium interior package (first year available). This is the only year that this color combo was made. Speaking to Ford they estimate that no more then 15 were made like it." Equipment includes 5-speed manual transmission, heated seats, IUP (Interior Upgrade Package), PTP (Premier Trip Package), 18-inch polished wheels, side air bags, Shaker 500 sound system, wheel locking kit, active anti-theft system, and racing GTA mufflers & X-pipe.
