Red 1969 Mustang convertible owned by Marisela Funes from Los Angeles, California. It has it's original 289ci V8 engine and automatic transmission. Marisela tells us,
"My husband inherited this vehicle last year from the Steve Kaufman estate. My husband is painter and worked for the late Steve Kaufman (former assistant to Andy Warhol). He was also his named assistant and protege. My husband and I have been separated for a while, but gave me his convertible. It has its original engine and transmission. They are in working condition, but needs a new carburetor. The Steve Kaufman Estate has appraised it at $10,000. I have the receipts and administrator appraisal notes. This was Steve's personal car from when he was a young man in the Bronx, New York. It has been in his name for many decades. I think it has had three previous owners in total including me. The Pink slip says 68' but VIN starts with 9. DMV error. "
