This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting November 10, 2013. This Mustang has its original 289ci V8 and a manual transmission. Joe adds, "I bought this fastback 15 years ago and it was a rusted out mess. My wife and I just finished a total restoration. We did all the work on the car with exception of the engine rebuild. It is a 289 fastback with 4-speed top loader. We have attended six car shows so far and have won four."

It has the Optional 200hp 289ci V8 engine under the hood. This was one of the first 1965 Mustang fastbacks built after the early August 1964 plant shutdown for retooling. This car was the 10094th 1965 car built in San Jose.

The assembly date code is 12J indicating that this car was scheduled for assembly on the 12th of September, 1964, only one month after the production start of 1965 Mustangs.
