(from page 2 of the 1975 Collection) Dark Red 1975 Mustang II coupe, right side view. This is a coupe or notchback. Ford also made a hatchback in 1975 with a more sloping rear treatment where the rear window glass and trunklid are one piece.

(from page 2 of the 1975 Collection) The pinstripes are both on the sides and wrap around the rear taillight panel.

(from page 2 of the 1975 Collection) The engine is a 2.3L 4-cylinder. It was originally rated at 88 horsepower.

(from page 2 of the 1975 Collection) The interior is red in color. The seats are vinyl with cloth inserts. Check out the wood grain on the dash, steering wheel, console, and door panels.

(from page 9 of the 1976 Collection) This page of the 1976 Ford Mustang promotional booklet shows a Vermilion Red (paint code 2R) base level 1976 Mustang II MPG coupe. The MPG Mustang II requires the 2.3L 4-cylinder engine with 3.18:1 rear axle ratio to get the highest gas mileage. This car is truly the most basic with no bodyside molding, fancy wheels, or color matched side mirrors. All 1976 models did come with fog lamps and chrome grille. Also shown here is a White 1976 Stallion optioned Mustang II coupe with black exterior accents and Stallion fender badge.

(from page 10 of the 1976 Collection) Skiing anyone? Here is a nice Red on Red base level 1976 Mustang II coupe. No options visible here with the standard chrome grille, fog lamps, and full wheel covers. Ford called this the Mustang II MPG Hardtop because it came standard with the most fuel efficient engine (93 horsepower, 2.3 liter, 4 cylinder). More information on this car can be found in the 1976 Ford Mustang promotional catalog.

(from page 6 of the 1978 Collection) Check this one out. It's a 1978 Monroe Handler Mustang. It's owned by Stephan Gable. This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting August 20, 2018. The Monroe Handler was a body kit by Creative Car Products to promote Monroe Handler series street performance shock absorbers. Steve tells us about the specs, "Steel custom hood, fastback not hatchback, modified grill, front cowl, lighting circuit, roof, front suspension, 8.8 posi rear..."

(from page 6 of the 1978 Collection) This Monroe Handler is three colors - red, white, and black. It's no longer a hatchback. The rear window has been fixed in place and a small trunk added.

(from page 6 of the 1978 Collection) This is a cool angle. Check out the rear end.
