Magazine ad featuring a Tangerine 1978 Mustang II with a T-top roof. The ad is titled, "All work and no Mustang sounds like a pretty dull life style." They are advertising a sticker price reduction from 1977 models. The ad goes on to say, "Lose yourself in the sporty spirit of the '78 Ford Mustang II... base sticker priced less than last year. Let this wide-open T-roof convertible take you away from an ordinary day. Or maybe you'd prefer the elegant Ghia or the 3-door Hatchback."

Check out the yellow pinstripe on the vinyl body molding which circles the entire car. In 1980 the Mustang Cobra was redesigned to have a 3 slot grille with integrated front spoiler, rear facing non-functional hood scoop, and rear spoiler.

A time capsule, this Bright Caramel 1980 Mustang coupe has just over 2000 miles on it. Options on this car include a white vinyl carriage roof that was factory made to look like a convertible with its top up and wire wheel covers. Mustang had not offered a convertible since 1973, so this carriage roof option was offered. It has the base level 140ci, 2.3L, 2-bbl, 4-cylinder engine.
