The door data tag says it was scheduled for build on July 13th 1964 and the serial build number in the VIN is less than 100. Mary Combs of Centralia Washington owns this beautifully restored Prairie Bronze 1964 Mustang convertible with a 289ci V8 under the hood. It was in terrible condition when Mary got the car in 2005. See the last set of photos for some of the restoration which used all original parts. We photographed Mary's car at the 2010 MCA Grand Nationals held in Bellevue, Washington.

The door data tag on this car reads 76A P 89 13G 72 1 6 (convertible, Prairie Bronze, Palomino interior, July 13th assembly date, ordered in San Jose area, 3.00:1 rear axle ratio, automatic transmission).
