This car was originally Lime Gold with a gold interior, but it is an original California Special model. The California Special included a front grille with no horse or other emblem, Marchal or Lucas fog lights (this one has Lucas fog lamps), competition style hood locks/pins, turn signals integrated in the hood, Shelby style side scoops,
GT/CS Striping and California special script, fiberglass trunk lid and extensions (same as the Shelby convertible), horizontal tail lights (same as 65 Thunderbird and 68 Shelby), pop off gas cap, and plain GT wheel covers (although this one has GT wheel covers).

This is the fifth mustang I have owned and one of my favorites so far. Current modifications include: Steeda CAI with Brenspeed 93octane SCT tune, Pypes X-pipe w/cats, Steeda Mufflers, FRPP springs, Roush Hood Scoop, and Roush Wing. Future modifications will include either the Roush or Whipple supercharger and possibly cams and forged internals."

Stephanie Chambas owns this car which was our Attitude Of The Week for the week starting October 24th, 2010. The car show was the day before and Stephanie's car was certainly our favorite. Stephanie had the GT/CS stripe extend up over the hood similar to the Mustang Boss. She also installed the rear quarter window panels.

Jason says, "I purchased this 2016 Ford Mustang GT/CS fastback on April 2, 2016 and two days after the car rolled off the assembly line. I was looking for a Mustang that was unique and in limited production numbers when I found this GT/CS. The looks of the GT/CS grabbed my attention both for the exterior and interior. The California Special includes 19' Ebony Black-painted machined aluminum wheels with 255/40R19 tires; unique performance front air splitter; unique black grilles, and hood and side stripes; strut tower brace; black raised decklid spoiler, side-view mirrors and hood-vented air extractors; faux gas cap; unique dark tail-lamp bezels; leather-trimmed seats with Miko suede cloth inserts and red stitching; unique instrument panel finish and door-panel inserts; and premium carpeted front floor mats with embroidered logo."
