Those are 19 inch premium painted aluminum wheels which are standard on all GT500 coupes, the 2010 GT500 convertible receives a 18 inch bright aluminum version. The body colored division between the upper grille and headlamps are a continuation of the hood and painted body color, unlike the 2010 Mustang GT. The side mirrors are also color matched with a black rib mounting it to the door. Three big body differences over the 2009 Shelby are the larger lower grille, single hood vent, and newly designed lower GT500 side stripes.

Stephanie Chambas owns this car which was our Attitude Of The Week for the week starting October 24th, 2010. The car show was the day before and Stephanie's car was certainly our favorite. Stephanie had the GT/CS stripe extend up over the hood similar to the Mustang Boss. She also installed the rear quarter window panels.

The stripes are less wide than the standard over the top racing stripes and are outlined in silver on the outside. The SVT Performance Package is available on all exterior colors. The unique narrow stripes may be deleted on any color, the red with silver accent stripes are available for Kona Blue and Black, red with black accent stripes for Performance White, Sterling Gray, and Ingot Silver exterior colors, and white with black accent stripes are available for Grabber Blue and Race Red.
