Carson Roberts found this 1965 Mustang hardtop in a shed with hay and chickens on it. Here's how it looked after washing it off. Not bad! Carson adds,
"The floor pans were a little weak. It was leaking front and back windows seals. It had two rust spots in the floor; the left was because of brake fluid, and the right was because the heater core leaking. The guy I got it from had it for 12 years. The guy before him painted and fixed it up. The car looked good for it being a 25 footer paint job."
(from page 6 of the 1965 Collection)
Another shot of Carson's find! Carson continues, "When we got it out, it started right up. It had a 289 with top loader 4-speed in it. The suspension was shot. All new was put back on; 5-leaf rear suspension, front end upper and lower control arms, etc."
