(1 photo of a 1966 Emberglo Orange Mustang GT Hardtop) Here it is before restoration. Or probably after one of the started restorations.

(1 photo of a 1968 Madagascar Orange Mustang Rainbow Of Colors Hardtop) We received this email of a second special orange/red Mustang with DSO 710777. This one is under restoration along with a possible other special order Mustang. The owner writes, I have recently bought a 1968 Mustang and discovered the original color was a unique orange. After searching the VIN I discovered your site. I have DSO 710777. If you look closely at the picture you can see the original color of Madagascar Orange where the drip rails where removed. Also the trunk have never been touched and is the original Madagascar Orange. I am excited to re-store her one day and preserve Mustang history. Yet another twist of fate! I also owned a 66 Mustang for over 10 years and finally began to sand her layers of paint. Well as I began to remove door panels, and look in places I found a Bubble Gum color pink. Long story short, we believe this Mustang to have been originally painted Playmate pink which was only a special order in 66 and not officially offered. So I am honored to have 2 rare painted Mustang and hope to be able to save up to restore them to their original glory!

(4 photos of a 1968 Madagascar Orange Mustang Rainbow Of Colors Hardtop) Check this one out. It's a Madagascar Orange 1968 Mustang hardtop Rainbow of Colors. It was sent in by Bryant Hatfield from Palmer, Texas. Bryant tells us, "It was owned by my friends father. It was buried in a garage for years. His father had passed away so I have no story on the car. Kinda upsetting, but I had noticed the car had no paint code and I started researching and found your site and one other that showed 1187 as my DSO code which states it was a special order orange." The car came with a 289 V8. It now has a 351w V8 engine.

(2 photos of a 1968 Madagascar Orange Mustang Rainbow Of Colors ) Josh sends us this photo of a car he just found, a 1968 Rainbow of Colors promotional Mustang hardtop in special order Madagascar Orange. It has the louvered hood option, side stripe, possibility a vinyl roof, and special order paint. The Rainbow of Colors promotion offered special paint on baseline and heavily optioned Mustangs in the California and Utah areas.

(3 photos of a 1970 Calypso Coral Orange Mustang Grande Hardtop) Here is a shot of Rick's 1970 Mustang Grande with a fresh coat of Calypso Coral paint on it.

(4 photos of a 1970 Orange Mustang Hardtop) Check out this 1970 Mustang fastback that Dominic Napolitano picked up! Dominic tells us more, "It has a 302 with 3-speed, but not sure if its factory. The car spent most of its life in Texas, but enough time in Michigan to develop a little cancer. I have most of the sheet metal to restore her. Its a Father-Son Project (mostly father, Son is 4). I have a 95 Lightning engine for it and shopping for a T5. Its definitely a 'barn find' - only gave a thousand for her. "

(1 photo of a 1970 Calypso Coral Orange Red Mach 1 Mustang Fastback) Here is the restored original Super Cobra Jet engine which came with this car, ready for installation.

(1 photo of a 1974 Medium Copper Mach 1 Mustang Hatchback) Here is the unrestored photo of the car. Bobby writes, I saw a picture of a copper color 74 Mustang mach 1 that I liked, it looked like it was in a wrecking yard. The picture was just on the internet with no information on the location of the car. In the July 2015 issue of Mustang Monthly there was an article on how to buy a classic Mustang. Many of the pictures on information for for the article came from Mustangs ETC. In Van Nuys, CA. In one of the pictures there was a green 69 Mustang coupe project car, Just behind this car I could see the front bumper and header panel of a copper 74 Mustang. I knew that in the other photo I had found of the 74 Mach was the same 69 Mustang. I contacted Arnold Marks at Mustangs Etc. He said he the 74 Mach 1 had been in his storage yard for since 1986. It was parked because of a broken off bolt in the crank shaft. The picture I had found on the internet of the car was old. Since that picture more parts had removed from the car. All of the body side molding had been sold. I bought the car after seeing new pictures of it. Arnold had the car shipped to me. When the car arrived at my house 4th of July weekend 2015 I was able to finally see it in person. The car had 150K miles on it, the the original 2.8L V6 had been replaced with a newer 2.8L and was missing many parts. The drivers side 1/4 panel was full of body filler and had many holes from a dent puller. The right side rocker panel was crushed and the car had many sun damaged parts. The good news was the car no rust other than the battery tray. I love the color of the car and had been wanting a Mustang II Mach 1 for many years. Because the original engine was missing I decided to make the car the way I would have ordered it new in 1974. I added and deleted options to get the car the way I wanted it. Here a are the cars original options and it's new options:
- California Emission
- Testing
- CR70X13 White Sidewall Radial Tires
- Power Steering
- Power Disc Brakes
- Bumper Protection Group
- Air Conditioner

The cars new option list is:
