(1 photo of a 1966 Mustang Easter Collection Of Colors Hardtop Advertisement) This is an April 7th, 1966 advertisement by Jackson Goldie Ford in the Oakland Tribune of Oakland, California. It shows one of the sales based on the colors available in 1966 including special order Playboy Pink and Thunderbird Honeydew Yellow. Sales like this were common in 1966, 1967 and 1968, mainly because of the availability of pink. We call it the Easter Collection of Colors. We've edited this advertisement by removing all the other cars listed. Here are those colors on Mustangs: .

(1 photo of a 1967 Playboy Pink Mustang Convertible) Playboy Pink 1967 Mustang Convertible. Playboy Pink was a special order color for 1967. Another 1967 pink was Dusk Rose. The door data tag will indicate a S for 1967 Dusk Rose or a blank or number code for Playboy Pink. See our 1967 Mustang Data Explorer for more information. 1967 Playboy Pink Mustangs should not be confused with the Playboy Pink Mustang given to Playboy playmate of the year in 1964.

(1 photo of a 1967 Dusk Rose Mustang Sprint Hardtop) This 1967 Sprint 200 Mustang hardtop owned by Teri Garcia has been restored to its original Dusk Rose pink exterior paint. Dusk Rose was originally a 1957 Ford Thunderbird production color which came back in 1967 as a special order production color (door data tag: code S, which Teri found on this car) for the Mustang. Dusk Rose was one of two pinks available for 1967 Mustangs, the other was Playboy Pink. From 1967 to 1969 several shades of Pink were offered as a special order.

(2 photos of a 1967 Playboy Pink Mustang Convertible) Check out Mary Ann Pomanti and her Playboy Pink 1967 Mustang convertible. It has its original 200ci 6-cylinder engine and a manual transmission. Her husband, Al, tells us more, "Bought it from a friend for my wife and did a complete resto. The only original parts are the hood. Painted Playboy Pink because when I met my wife she had been in a hair style competition and had Pink hair, and she wanted something other than red. Runs good. She has ball driving it and gets lots of looks. We are a Ford family - my son has a 69 Mach 1, 428 4-speed 2 4-bbls. I have 50 Ford lead sled."
