It's a Ford built replica of the one that actually paced the race. This is one of about 40 convertibles and about 190 hardtops built by Ford back in 1964. The convertibles were used as Dignitary (parade) cars at the race, then auctioned off to the dealerships. The hardtops were given straight to dealers. Of all the convertibles, only very few remain.
