(from page 4 of the 1994 Collection) Wow! What an engine. It is a Ford Racing factory aluminum block with Boss 429 heads. It is fuel injected; with a bore and stroke of 4.8/4.5 in. and a 10.5:1 compression ratio. It put out 855 horsepower and 790 lb.-ft. torque. The transmission is a C6 three-speed automatic with a 3.70:1 final drive ratio. Just think what would have happened if this turned into a production vehicle!

(from page 5 of the 1994 Collection) 1994 Mustang SVT Cobra D-code 240hp (at 5000rpm), 5.0 liter (320ci), overhead valve, Cobra V8 engine. In order to get this larger engine to fit the strut tower-to-cowl brace was removed. This was fine since the new 1994 body and frame coupe style had 44 percent more torsional rigidity and the convertible style had 80 percent more, than the 1993 body/frame.
