The Saleen has two tail-lights on each side instead of three. Rear exhaust tips are routed out the center. Redfire 2006 Mustang Saleen S281-E "Extreme" convertible, rear end view. Under the hood is that 550hp engine! Screaming Yellow Mustang GT Shinoda Boss convertible with black stripes and a black interior. This one was built at Shinoda and is serial number 06-005. This one has a custom 834hp engine! Screaming Yellow Mustang GT Shinoda Boss convertible, right rear view. It has a cat-back Mustang 3-inch exhaust system with Flow mufflers and 3-1/2 inch chrome tips. Screaming Yellow Mustang GT Shinoda Boss convertible, front end view. It says Boss Shinoda on the head rests, across the top of the windsheild, and down the hood. There is no mistaking what car this is. This 4.6L (302ci) engine puts out 835 horsepower and 733 foot-pounds of torque. It has a Vortech Supercharger. Modifications include: forged steel Stroker crankshaft with 3.75 stroke, Manley forged I-beam rods, Manley forged pistons, SHM moly rings, F-M Trimetal main and rod bearings, ARP main bolts, 2007 GT oil pump and pickup tube, 3 angle ported cylinder heads, CC 127350 camshafts, CC 26125-24 springs with CC steel 700-24 retainers, stainless intake valves, Inconel exhaust valves, 2007 GT timing components, VCT sensors, 2007 GT hydraulic lash adjusters, ARP head studs, and powdercoated valve covers. Inside is black leather. Visible modifications include the Hurst shifter, different pedals, and three extra gauges in the center of the dash. This is a cool one. It's a Satin Silver 2006 Saleen S-281 coupe with the optional Scenic Roof option. The entire top is a one piece of safety glass! These are Saleen factory promotional photos. It has 20-inch diameter wheels - 10-inch wide in the rear and 9-inch wide in the front.Under teh hood is a 281 cubic inch (4.6L) 3-valve SOHC Supercharged engine. It is rated at 465 horseposer.
