... PICTURE SET CONTINUED FROM PREVIOUS PAGE The engine is the 4.6L 260hp V8 which is standard in the GT. Black 2001 Mustang SVT Cobra convertible with the top down. It has the big 4.6L 320hp Dual Overhead Cam V8 engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. The roll bar is an aftermarket item. Rear view of this black 2001 Mustang STV Cobra with the top up again. Those are FlowMaster 3-inch diameter chrome exhaust tips. This is the higher output version of the 4.6L V8 engine offered in 2001. This one (when stock) puts out 320hp and is a Dual Overhead Cam version. The base level 4.6L V8 put out 260hp. This engine is modified with a K&N Cool air intake, a BBK dual 62mm inlet throttle body, BBK pully reduction system, and Ford Racing ceramic powder coated headers. The engine now pumps out 409hp. Here is a better look at that aftermarket roll bar with integrated third brake light. I wonder if it doubles as a dome light when the top is up. Mineral Gray 2001 Mustang Saleen S-281 S/C convertible with it's top down. Features include a light gray interior, black top, Supercharged 4.6 liter V8 engine, 4-speed automatic transmission, 18 inch Saleen wheels, 13 inch front brake rotors with 4-piston calipers, and a 6-disc in-dash CD player. The Saleen emblem on the trunk lid says S (the Saleen S) 281 with Supercharged below it. Under the hood is the Supercharged 4.6L V8 engine. It puts out 365 horsepower. The interior is light gray in color. It has an automatic transmission. I didn't know an automatic was an option on the Saleen. In the center of the dash is the optional Twin Gauge Pod. It monitors Boost Pressure and Intercooler water temperature. Black 2001 Mustang Saleen S-281 coupe with lots of extras. The outside has been modified to look like a Cobra Saleen conversion. It is a real factory Saleen ID number 134. It has Gunmetal 18x9 and 18x10 inche Saleen wheels fitted with Nitto NT01 Tires - 275 in the front and 315 in the rear.
