Tropic Green 2001 Mustang GT convertible with side stripes and black Bullit wheels. The stripes are the same as the Califonia Special models. The side fender scoops and hood scoop have been painted black. Same Tropic Green 2001 Mustang GT convertible in the snow. This timethe top is up. Notice that the owner has added Cobra emblems to the side. A BBK cold air intake (CAI) has been added to this 4.6 liter V8 engine. The interior is tan with leather seats. It has an automatic transmission. This is a 2001 Mustang Saleen S-281 Cobra convertible. That's a mouthfull! This is a factory Saleen converted from an SVT Cobra convertible. It is serial number 01-309. This is a pretty rare car. Saleen only coverted six Cobra convertibles in 2001. 2001 Mustang Saleen S-281 Cobra convertible, left front view. Those are 18-inch Cobra R wheels. Same view, but the top is up. If I had this car the top would never be up, I'd drive it with the top down all the time. 2001 Mustang Saleen S-281 Cobra convertible, right rear view. Here is a close-up of the Saleen emblem on the front fender of this Saleen. The name "281" comes from the engine displacement. The 4.6L engine is equivalent to 281 cubic inches. This Saleen has 18-inch Cobra R Wheels. The brake caliper even says Cobra. I don't know if this is factory, but even the valve stem covers have the Cobra R logo. The Saleen S-281 Cobra comes with the Cobra engine. It's a 4.6L V8 DOHC engine. Here is the gray and black interior. It has the Mach 460 6-disc changer sound system. The Vehicle Certification Tag or Data Plate can be found on the rear edge of the driver's side door. This one shows a build date of August 2001 and a paint color or YN which is silver.
