This is a 305 horsepower 4.6L V8. It was standard equipment on the 1997 Cobra.
Black 1997 Saleen S-281 convertible with a black interior and optional sports bar (roll bar). Options include 3.55 rear gears, Speedster package, chrome wheel upgrade, and a supercharger. This is saleen serial number 26. You can just make out the 26 numbers on the driver's side bumper top.

Here is the engine. It's a basic 4.6L SOHC V8 with an optional Vortech Supercharger. Factory Saleens have an ID tag on the firewall like this one.
Here is a close-up of the Saleen ID tag on the firewall. It was built in September of 1996. Serial number 97-0026.
The interior is black leather. It has the optional twin gauge pod in the center of the dash.
Part of the standard Saleen upgrade is these custom white Saleen tach and speedometer gauges.
There is also a special ID tag on the center console of factory converted Saleens. This one just shows the 97-0026 serial number.
