    
Back in 1983 was the Mustang convertible. This is a Medium Red 1983 Mustang GLX convertible with wire wheels, body side molding, and color keyed mirrors. The front window trim looks a little odd, because in 1983 Ford sent out all Mustang convertibles to be created from coupes.

This is the 1983 Ford Mustang promotional brochure. The front cover shows a bright red Mustang GT. One significant change to the 1983 Mustang was the re-introduction of the convertible midyear which came in the GLX trim package; and had an electric top, a real glass rear window, and a comfortable back seat.

Here's a good way to get some attention. Put a highrise and dual quads on your 1983 Mustang hatchback. Looks like even the valve covers are too tall for the stock hood. It was one of the few Mustangs with it's hood open at the rainy 2009 car show at Uftring Ford.
