Indian Fire Red 1969 Mustang Mach 1 fastback with a 360hp (at 5400rpm), 428ci, 4 barrel, Ram Air induction V8 engine (Drag Pack option); white interior; and Magnum 500 rims, 15 x 7 up front and 15 x 8 in the rear with Goodyear Eagle tires. The Mach 1 in 1969 came standard with a matte black hood, hood scoop (only functional with the SCJ Ram Air Drag Pack engine), exposed NASCAR-style hood lock pins (could be deleted), a spoiler (at extra cost), reflective side and rear stripes, color-keyed sport mirrors, special handling suspension, and chrome exhaust tips.

Hood pins where introduced on the 1965 Mustang Shelby where the hood latch mechanism was deleted NASCAR-style pins were installed to lock it down. By 1968 the pins were more ornamental and for additional safety as the hood latch mechanism was retained. In 1969 the Mustang GT and Mustang Mach 1 came standard with these pins (which could be deleted).

Interior view of a 1969 Mustang Mach 1 fastback with its original white clarion knit vinyl Mach 1 interior (only 39,500 miles on this car, although it was repainted). The Mach 1 came standard with high-back seats, black carpets, a Rim-Blow steering wheel, cener console, clock, sound-deadening insulation, and teakwood grained trim on the doors/dash/console.

The 1969, Mustang, R-code, 360hp (at 5400rpm), 428ci, 4 barrel, Ram Air induction, Super Cobra Jet, V8 engine (Drag Pack option). There are only 39,500 miles on this engine.
Look at all that extra room just behind the grille, a secondary radiator is shown. You can allso see the hood pin post just to the left of the cable mount which holds the removable pin.

A new looking door data tag showing that this is a fastback Mach 1 63C, painted Indian Red (Ford 3202-A) Y, with a blackout hood 5, white vinyl mach 1 interior 3W, assembled on the 21st of April 1969 21D, for the Buffalo area 37, 4.30:1 limited slip rear axle W, and C-6 XPL automatic transmission U.
