Coupe

Convertible

The 2003 SVT Cobra was offered in both the convertible and coupe body styles. Besides a host of trim modifications, the engine consisted of a hand-built 4.6L DOHC Supercharged V8. This engine was a monster with 390 horsepower and 390 foot-pounds of torque. The 2003 Cobra was code-named the "Terminator" by the SVT group. It is said that this model terminated any competition between the Cobra and the General Motors' Trans Am and Camaro models. 2003 was the 10th year the SVT Cobra was offered. This event was commemorated with the release of the Limited Edition 2003 10th Anniversary SVT Cobra. The limited edition modifications over the normal Cobra included: carbon fiber patterned leather on the top of the steering wheel, carbon fiber leather on the shifter and hand brake, red window switch bezels, red seat inserts, red painted brake calipers all the way around, and big 17x9 inch 10th Anniversary wheels. Offered in both coupes (1003 built) and convertibles (1000 built), the exterior colors were limited to Torch Red, Silver, and Black.
