GT Options Package
The 2011 Mustang GT comes with the new all aluminum, 5.0 liter, double overhead cam, TiVCT, V8 rated at 412 horsepower and a 5.0 fender emblem to match. A performance package adds 19 inch alloy wheels and Brembo brakes. Also new to 2011 is a host of performance and handling improvements. Just as 2010 GT, the front grille is blackened and has fog lamps.

Customized Grabber Blue 2011 Mustang GT California Special at the 2010 Mustang, Shelby and Ford Roundup car show in Tampa, Florida. Stephanie Chambas owns this car which was our Attitude Of The Week for the week starting October 24th, 2010. The car show was the day before and Stephanie's car was certainly our favorite. Stephanie had the GT/CS stripe extend up over the hood similar to the Mustang Boss. She also installed the rear quarter window panels.

Check out this Yellow Blaze 2011 Mustang GT coupe! I bet this car glows in the dark. It has the 18x8 inch wide spoke aluminum wheels. These are standard on the 2011 GT. It has aftermarket hood graphics (saying Street Boss from James Dean Creations) and side C-stripes. This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting June 19, 2011. Sterling Gray 2011 Mustang GT coupe owned by Gregory Washington from Compton, California. This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting December 30, 2012. It has a 5.0L V8 and an automatic transmission. Gregory tells us, "I traded in my 2006 V6 Mustang for this 2011 GT. My brother also brought a Mustang GT that same day. My Mustang is a base package and my brothers got the Brembo brake package with his. I really like the Brembo brake package wheels. I didn't really care for the base package wheels so I added a few mods. The first mod was the Eleanor grille and window louvers. I then added Charcoal AMR Wheels 19x8.5 in front and 19x9.5 in the back. I had this Mustang since April 2011 and I love it!! "

Grabber Blue 2011 Mustang GT coupe owned by James Ryan from Alamogordo, New Mexico. It has a 5.0L V8 and a manual transmission. This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting May 12, 2013. Ryan tells us, "I recently purchased this Mustang from a local dealership and was fortunate to have inherited several mods to it already. It came with a Roush cold air intake, front chin spoiler, Roush custom grille and Magnaflow axle back exhaust as well as several other options under the hood to dress it up."

Blaze Yellow 2011 Mustang GT coupe owned by Peter Schaffhauser from Huntersville, North Carolina. It has the Coyote 302ci V8 engine and a manual transmission. Peter adds, "I've had my 2011 Mustang GT for just over a year. It already had the BOSS 302 intake installed along with Ford Racing mufflers. I added on the JLT intake with SCT tune. Also added on Eleanor style side scoops. She is a blast to drive and I enjoy going to car shows to show her off. I have a group on FB for Yellow Blaze Mustang owners. So far we have 25 members but always looking for others."

Check out this Ingot Silver 2011 Mustang GT RTR coupe. It's a special model designed by Vaughn Gittin Jr. He is the driver of the Monster Energy/Falken Tire 2011 Mustang GT. This dealer installed option is available on both the GT (now) and V6 (fall) Mustang models. Unique items include special front chine spoiler with splitter, side rockers, rear diffuser, aluminum rear decklid spoiler, special stripes, RTR badges inside and out, RTR floor mats, RTR 19x9.5-inch wheels, Falken FK452 performance tires, Ford Racing shocks, Ford Racing 1.5-inch lowering springs, upgraded rear sway bar, cross-drilled and slotted rotors, Ford racing tune, K&N air filter, and low flow mufflers.

Here is a Kona Blue version of the 2011 Mustang GT RTR coupe. This dealer installed option has the light blue stripes and flat black lower body extensions.

Race Red 2011 Mustang GT California Special convertible owned by Dan Freeman from California. It has the 5.0L V8 engine and an automatic transmission. Dan purchased it in 2017 with only 44K miles. He said that it was in amazing like new condition.

Penny Stroud of Arkansas owns this all original 2011 Mustang GT California Special in Ingot Silver exterior paint with a carbon fiber trimmed interior and shaker 1000 stereo. She says it has 37,000 miles on it.

This Red Candy 2011 Mustang GT convertible was at the 2010 Mustang Roundup in Tampa, Florida. It has the standard 412hp, 5.0L, Aluminum block, V8 engine; 18 inch, wide spoke, painted aluminum wheels; and aftermarket gold over the top stripes.

Here is a Ford preview of the 2011 Mustang GT in one of the three new 2011 colors, Race Red. The other two new 2011 colors are Yellow Blaze and Ingot Silver. The 2011 has an all new 5.0L dual overhead cam V8 which puts out 412 horsepower. There are many new performance upgrades to the 2011 GT besides the new engine. These include: 60mph speedometer, 5.0 fender emblems, optional Brembo brakes, optional 19 inch alloy wheels, new exhaust, and better handling.

This is a 2011 Mustang GT Pace Car. It is painted Race Red, of coarse. 50 identical replica units will be produced for sale to the public. A special one will actually pace the 2010 Daytona 500 race. Modifications from the stock GT include: special Ford Racing suspension kit, strut tower brace, and mufflers; special 19-inch wheels with an upgraded Brembo brake kit; and a modified front valance. Look at the checkered flag design on the side mirrors!

I saw this awesome Red Candy 2011 Mustang GT coupe sitting in a side parking lot at the 2011 Mustang Roundup car show held in Bellevue, Washington and I had to take photos of it. The Red Candy exterior paint stood out even on the overcast day. This car has the optional 19 inch GT wheels.
