- Hello My uncle and my father had several mustangs over the sixties always competing for the newest and nicest. he can remember when he purchased it there were a limited number of exterior colors but all the ones on the lot were deluxe interiors. The right dash board had an emblem with the horse striped emblem on the outside followed by Dixie Special in cursive. However the star decal we says wasn't on his. There was floor mats with the running pony inside a circle of 13 stars ( confederate states 13 stars). His hood had the blinker scoops in it. A hard top black and paint scheme of red body and blue striping ( colors of Dixie is our best guess). The mustang ford wheels similar to the crater ss rims with white wall tires. A front license plate with the real confederate flag on it called the first national flag. On the doors was a cursive dixie special with the horse. The tires wheels were a racing style. It had AC and an upper console on the ceiling matching the floor console in away trim wise. The car was a 'GT' had fog lamps and the rear had back up lights. He could adjust both mirrors with out getting out of the car. The seats were solid black with a silver emblem stitching and back iPod the seat was ' bead board' like. Had radio with good speakers. He said anything you wanted you could get. The mustang he bought was owned by the dealers son with all the bells and whistles./li>
