(10 photos of a 2001 Highland Green Mustang Bullitt Coupe) 2001 Bullitt Green Mustang GT Bullitt with a 270hp, 281 cubic inch, 4.6 liter, electronic fuel injected, single overhead cam, V8, special Bullitt engine. Ford had a Bullitt optioned 2001 Mustang which was based on the 1968 fastback driven by Steve McQueen in the detective movie Bullitt. Bullitt modifications included unique side scoops, 17-inch American Racing aluminum wheels, a lowered suspension, modified C-pillars, special quarter panel molding, rocker panel moldings, brushed aluminum fuel cap door, special Bullitt badging, polished-rolled tailpipe, and came in Dark Highland Green and True Blue and Black. The original 1968 Mustang fastback used in the movie was Dark Highland Green. The movie's director called for speeds of 75 to 80 mph, but the cars (including the ones containing the cameras) reached speeds of over 110 mph on surface streets. Filming of the chase scene took three weeks, resulting in 9 minutes and 42 seconds of film. During the chase scene, the Charger loses six hubcaps and has different ones missing at different times. The production company was denied permission to film on the Golden Gate Bridge.

(3 photos of a 2001 Black Mustang GT Coupe) Black 2001 Mustang GT coupe owned by Jesse Keogh from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Jesse tell us about his ride, "I did my undergraduate in Las Vegas, and I came across it on-line when I was searching for my first muscle car. It was a very nice California car with little wear and 43K miles. It had to be Ford. I have slowly moved up the ranks from my first car an Escort LX, then a Probe GT, and now a Mustang GT! I have fallen in love with the stangs. My college budget is hard to work with but it's always a work in progress. I am going with a blacked out, sleeper look and eventually plan on adding a twin turbo kit with forged internals."

(8 photos of a 2001 Laser Red Mustang GT Coupe) Laser Red 2001 Mustang GT with a 260hp (at 5250rpm), 281 cubic inch (4.6 liter), electronic fuel injected, single overhead cam, V8 engine.

This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting January 16, 2011. It has a 4.6L V8 engine and an automatic transmission. Gary tells us more, "I purchased my '01 GT convertible in June of 2008. At the time, it had 84k miles on the odometer. As of January 2011, it has 115k miles. It is completely stock other than the antenna (shorty) and the sequential tail lights. (LOVE EM!)"

(1 photo of a 2001 Tropic Green Mustang Convertible) Tropic Green 2001 Mustang convertible owned by Evelyn Morehead from Shelby North, Carolina. It has the 3.8L V6 engine and an automatic transmission. Check out the three ponies on the door. Evelyn tells us more, "I bought this 'stang in 2002 to replace my '93 Mercury Capri convertible. It has the pony leather interior, 6 CD radio with premium sound, and, to top it off-tan horses running down each side! The children at the elementary school where I taught loved this car! It has been in several parades. It has been treated better than I treat my husband. I don't think it has ever squalled tires or skidded-I have been very gentle. It has mainly brought a lot of fun as we cruised with the wind in our hair and sang along with many great songs on our killer sound system. The only reason I am selling it is that-after knee replacement-it's kind of tough to get in and out of. I had planned to keep it till it became a classic-but someone else will have to complete that plan!"

It has been in the garage since I bought it - never seen snow or rain since I have had it. It only has 29,000 miles on the car. Yah, you read that right - 29,000 miles. The car is a blast to drive and looks and sounds sweet."
