This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting October 17, 2010. Scott tells us more "I have owned this car for three years. I found here in Wisconsin needing a total resto. 60,000 original miles. Special order paint. There were only 114 with this paint code and trim. Only 277 with this paint code. All special paint codes were not marked on the data plate, so very few were painted this color. It is a pleasure to drive."

Ron says, The car was purchased in 1993 as a #5 basket case it is now a #1 show car restored by me, to Mustang Club of America concours driven status. It has the following options: Ram-air, C-6 automatic transmission, power steering, power disc brakes, front and rear spoilers, convenience group, Mach 1 sports interior, full gauges including tachometer, AM/8-track, console, rear window defrost, sport deck rear seat, interior decor group, rear bumper guards and Magnum 500's.

(10 photos of a 1973 Bright Red Mustang Convertible) Bright Red 1973 Mustang convertible from Dirk Howard from Gilbert, Arizona. It has the original 351ci V8 engine and an automatic transmission. This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting April 28, 2013. Dirk tells us, "It was a St. Louis MO rust bucket. I saw it restored on the internet for sale. Because it was kept stock, I had to buy it. It was a frame-off restore to fix a log of problems, mainly RUST. It has a 351C 2V engine, FMX transmission, Ram Air, 3.25:1 traction lock rear end, air conditioning, upgrades to disk brakes on front, slotted aluminum wheels, and stripes. The engine was overhauled and bored 030. The hood had factory flat black stripes. I decided to paint the stripes white. This car has been to several concourse shows and was never docked points for the hood being white. This Mustang has had it's picture taken with John Force, Miss Arizona, and even won a Chick Magnet award at a local car show. The Chick Magnet Award that was voted by a high school cheer leader squad. That is the most treasured award because they were not car buffs but people who really liked the car for what is is, a real good looking car!"

This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting March 17, 2013. The body restoration was done in 2011 at The Auto Hut in Annville, Pennsylvania. During the restoration these items were added; front chin spoiler, hood pins (twist type), painted hood blackout, black rear window louvers, full center console with clock, radiator overflow tank, and two sets of wheels - 15" slotted aluminum (shown) and 15" magnum 500s. Performance items include; original performance 351ci Cleveland 2V V8(rebuilt 6/2/97 at 131,125 miles), ram air, Edelbrock performer intake with 4bbl 600 cfm carb, Petronix ignition, Hedman longtube headers, dual exhaust with Flowmaster 40 series mufflers, Competition suspension, power steering, power front disc brakes, and FMX Cruise-O-Matic transmission (rebuilt Nov 2004).

This car has original 351C 2V air conditioning, fold down rear seat. It is in good overall condition needs some interior and paint work. It is perfect for a restoration. It has no rust."

This car's appearance has been modified, originally it was green with a tan interior, now factory Bright Red with a black interior although it does have its original Cobra Jet 248 hp (at 5400 rpm), 351 cubic inch, 4 barrel V8 engine.
