(8 photos of a 1984 Oxford White Mustang GT Anniversary Convertible) Oxford White 1984 Mustang GT350 with the largest engine offered in 1984; a 175hp (at 4000rpm), 5.0 liter (302 cubic inch), 4 barrel, high output V8. The special model commemorated the Mustang's 20th anniversary and only came in Oxford White. No-one at Ford got Shelby's permission to use the "GT350" name. Shelby was working at the time with the inventor of the Mustang, Lee Iacocca at Chrysler, sued Ford for this infringement. This car has 1991+ five spoke wheels.

(5 photos of a 1984 Red Mustang GT Anniversary Fastback) Chuck Tuttle send us photos of his #1374 1984 Mustang GT-350 project. The body will be painted 2010 Cadillac Black Cherry with the frame in dark metal flake gray. Chuck tells us more, "It is being turned into a street strip terror. Power comes from two 63mm T3/4 turbos on a well prepped 1990 stock bore 302. Aiding the induction is a C/S Carb blow thru setup. Mallory and Accecel supply the fire. Handling the teeth jarring shifts is a Performance automatic with hardened shafts plus a Trans brake. Coupling the power is a Continental 4,500 rpm stall. This is all held in place with front and mid engine plates. The full channel frame keeps things from twisting to the 4-link narrowed 9 inch coil over rear end. Tube K-member, steering, and front coil overs keep her light on the front end. When it comes to stopping, disc all the way around by Strange Bros. To keep me safe, a 10-point chrome molly cage is in place. Aero motive A1000 and a Holly Blue supply the GO juice." Chuck also owns a 1988 Mustang LX 5.0L convertible and his wife has a 1964 Mustang hardtop.

(1 photo of a 1990 Deep Emerald Green Mustang GT Anniversary Convertible) This Deep Emerald Green 1990 Mustang GT Anniversary convertible is owned by Steve Poiry of New Haven, Indiana. Steve says, I have owned the car since October of 2007. Since then I changed the wheels and tires. However, I kept the original wheels and tires as the car only had 4000 miles on it when I bought it. These 35th Anniversary Mustangs are sometimes called a 7-UP car because 30 of these were to be given away by the 7-UP Bottling Company as a promotional item. These cars actually started life at the ford factory as coupes! They were converted to convertibles.

Ford only produced 4,628 of these Limited Edition 35th Anniversary GTs in 1999. This car was given features of the 2000 Mustang GT - such as the raised hood scoop, side scoops and raised spoiler. You could only get this Limited Edition car in red, black, silver, or white.


(5 photos of a 1999 Crystal White Mustang GT Anniversary Convertible) Crystal White 1999 Mustang GT 35th Anniversary Limited Edition convertible at the 2010 Mustang car show in Port Angeles, Washington. 4,628 of these Limited Edition 35th Anniversary GTs were built in 1999. Unique options included a raised hood scoop, side scoops and raised spoiler. It only came in red, black, silver, or white.


(2 photos of a 2003 Black Mustang GT Anniversary Coupe) Black 2003 Mustang Centennial Edition coupe owned by Brent Daggitt from BC Canada. Only 3000 Centennial Editions where produced in 2003. They where all painted black with two-tone parchment interiors. 717 of them were coupes and 1323 were convertibles. They came with the 4.6L 260hp V8 engine from the GT. Brent says, "I bought a truck six months prior. I told dealer that I loved Mustangs. A few months later he phoned said, 'Get in here, I have a Mustang for you.'"


(3 photos of a 2003 Black Mustang GT Anniversary Coupe) Black 2003 Mustang GT 100th Anniversary Special Edition owned by Kyle Wood from Princeton. West Virginia. Ford build 717 of these. They where all black with two-tone tan interiors. Kyle added JLT intake, UPR o/r X-pipe, Bamachips tune with sct tuner, Steeda Tri-ax shifter, and PA performance coils. It has 78,000 miles on the clock. After these photos were taken, Kyle added SSS cat-back exhaust and smoked headlights taillights and fog lights.

Ford only made 3000 of these in the coupe and convertible. Like the first Ford cars - you could get this Centennial Mustang in any color so long as it was black.

Good Year tires, brand new 17x8 inch 5-spoke chrome wheels, 4-wheel anti-lock brakes with traction control, dual exhaust, rear spoiler, fog lamps, matching black convertible top, convertible boot, standard Premium Verona-grain Imola leather seating surfaces in two-tone parchment, 100th Anniversary badges embossed on the seats & outer fenders & decklid, leather-wrapped steering wheel, power driver's seat with power lumbar support, and Mach 460 AM/FM Stereo with six-disc CD changer. Megan says, "I've had this convertible for about three years and it's barely been driven. I had helped a boyfriend purchase it, but needless to say the relationship soured and now I'm left with a car that I do not need! The car looks great inside and out and only has a little over 55k miles on it. I would keep it for myself, but am looking for a less-sporty car. You can message or call me for more details."


(7 photos of a 2004 Crimson Red Mustang GT Anniversary Coupe) This Crimson Red 2004 Mustang GT coupe use to be owned by Steven Reiser. This Mustang as the 4.6L SOHC stock engine. Steven tells us more, "I traded in my 1992 Ford Mustang GT for this Limited Edition 40th Anniversary Crimson Red with Beige striping Premium Package 2004 Mustang GT. I just bought it in February 2008 below Kelley Blue Book trade-in price. No Mods yet, but planning a 9 psi Kenne Bell 2.1L Twin Screw Supercharger to go from 260 to about 435 RWHP. Crimson Red with Beige Racing Stripes was the official Limited Edition Package with only 4,000 of these made." Steve now owns a Redfire 2004 Mustang Cobra coupe shown on this site.

Crimson Red was exclusive to this special 40th anniversary Mustang but also came in, Black, or Oxford White. The 40th Anniversary Package features include: Arizona Beige (silver) dual hood and trunk stripes; matching rocker stripes; upgraded wheels; and a deluxe parchment interior with painted center console surrounds, metallic gray shifter bezel and door lock knobs, shift boot trim, and brushed aluminum pedals.

Features of this Mustang include special 50th Anniversary badges inside and out; chrome highlights for the grille, side glass and tri-bar tail lamps; louvered rear quarter-windows which are simulated with layers of glass; unique aluminum dash panel, cashmere-stitched, leather-wrapped steering wheel; similarly stitched instrument panel, shifter boot, center armrest, door inserts, seats, and floor mats; two-tone cashmere and black leather seats; and a Mustang 50 Year logo on the seat backs. The special edition comes standard with the Mustang GT performance pack which includes Brembo front brakes and Pirelli P-Zero tires. There are also 19-inch alloy wheels which are patterned off the steel styled sport wheels from 1964 through 1968; and a leather covered owners guide folder with 50th Anniversary badge.

Kona Blue was only available in 2015 on this limited edition Mustang which included special wheels, grille, interior, and badges. The 50th Anniversary Edition was limited to a quantity of 1964 and available in exclusive Kona Blue or Wimbledon White. This is car is also our Attitude Of The Week starting Jun 13th, 2019.
