There were two Atlantic Blue paints offered in 1998. This is the lighter of the two - paint code K7. It has a 3.8L V6 and a manual transmission. Nathan tells us,
"I got her in April 2008, funny never realized that it was 10 years sense she was originally bought. The first owner bought her in April of '98 as an end of the year special. There has been only two owners. The original old lady, literally 69 years old, and I."

"I bought it one year ago from a 2nd owner. I have discovered that the color, Bright Atlantic Blue, is pretty rare on the Mustang GT convertibles. In fact have have not seen another one yet."

These special edition Mustang GT's came with special hood stripes and 17-inch wheels. The package was available in both coupe and convertible. The package re-appears in the 2000 model year. This particular one has custom side graphics added by the dealer.

In 1998 a new GT sports package was available for $595 which included 17 inch double 5-spoke aluminum wheels, hood and fender stripes, leather wrapped shift knob, and engine oil cooler.

This is a 15th Saleen Anniversary model, all of which came in yellow and convertibles. Not seen in this view is the wide black hood stripe with white outline. The yellow wheels and custom SA-15 interior is also standard on this special Saleen model. This SA-15 was at the 2010 Mustang Club of America Grand Nationals held outside of Seattle in Bellevue, Washington.
