Shelby GT-500s come with this massive 5.4L Supercharged 500hp engine. You can see that the hood scoops are open to the engine compartment. But the air filter is closed and routed to breathe from the front of the car.

This data tag is found in the driver's side door jamb. The car was built in August of 2008 and was originally painted G5 for Alloy (Gray) paint.

This is a Performance White 2009 Shelby GT-500 Red Stripe Edition coupe. Only 300 Shelbys will get the Red Stripe Package. It is only available on the Performance White or Black Shelbys. Front end view of this Performance White 2009 Shelby GT-500 Red Stripe Edition coupe. The "over the top" stripes extend onto the bumper and below the bumper. You can see the HID headlamp option in this shot. HID stands for High-Intensity Discharge. They have xenon gas in them and produce more light for a given level of power consumption than ordinary tungsten and tungsten-halogen bulbs.
