The Saleen American Flag comes with a custom drivetrain which includes a 5-speed manual transmission and 8.8 inch differential and 3.31:1 final drive. The modified Racecraft suspension consists of front and rear linear-rate coil springs, 1.38 inch sway bars with HD bushings in the front and 0.79 inch in the rear, nitrogen front struts and rear shocks, and three-link live rear axle with a panhard rod.

This is a Saleen factory photo of a Chromosome Silver 2012 Mustang Saleen SMS 25A concept coupe. It's a 25th anniversary edition. The SA-25 Sterling Edition S302E was the actual production version for 2008. The concept has a 720hp supercharged 5.0L aluminum block v8 engine with a butterfly induction system (see the three red valves in the hood scoop). It has LED taillights, carbon fiber side splitters, carbon fiber diffuser, special silver paint, and a 6-speed manual transmission.
