This car was originally Lime Gold with a gold interior, but it is an original California Special model. The California Special included a front grille with no horse or other emblem, Marchal or Lucas fog lights (this one has Lucas fog lamps), competition style hood locks/pins, turn signals integrated in the hood, Shelby style side scoops, GT/CS Striping and California special script, fiberglass trunk lid and extensions (same as the Shelby convertible), horizontal tail lights (same as 65 Thunderbird and 68 Shelby), pop off gas cap, and plain GT wheel covers (although this one has GT wheel covers).

This was our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting April 18, 2010. The car originally Lime Green, then painted white, then sat in a field for many years rotting away. The car was rescued from the field and restored. These photos were taken at the 7th Annual Main Street Fight Against Multiple Sclerosis Car Show held in Princeville, Illinois.

This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting November 16, 2014. It has it's original 289ci 2V V8 engine and an automatic transmission. Thomas tells us more, "This Mustang come to me in 2012 from Miami. This is a 1968 Mustang Sprint B with a 195hp (at 4600 rpm) 289 cubic inch 2 barrel V8. The Sprint options packages from factory included; Select Shift Cruise-O-Matic transmission, power steering, and drum brakes. The car is number matching and has only re-paint to Acapulco blue from Lime gold in 1998. The engine was restored at the same time. This Mustang was sold in Washington in 1968 and was in that area until 2012. The last owner had it in Lorton, Virginia. I will restore slowly and drive it all the time."
