(from page 24 of the 1967 Collection) This is a third variation of the 1967 Mustang Blazer limited edition newspaper advertisement, placed by Richard Wright Ford, Point Mirion Ford, Cooley Ford, and Null Ford Sales in the December 9th, 1966 edition of the Morning Herald of Uniontown, Pennsylvania. We found many advertisement for the Mustang Blazer limited edition in Ohio, Maryland, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania from mid November through mid December of 1966.

(from page 25 of the 1967 Collection) By December 14th, the 1967 Mustang Blazer limited edition sale seems to have been over. We found this advertisement for some remaining limited edition Mustang Blazers in the December 14th, 1966 edition of the Daily Courier of Connellsville, Pennsylvania.

(from page 25 of the 1967 Collection) Lime Gold 1967 Shelby GT-350 fastback with a black interior. It still has its original 289ci engine. Lime Gold was more of a green than a gold in color. Those side scoops down low behind the doors are functional! They provide cool air to the rear brakes.

(from page 25 of the 1967 Collection) Lime Gold 1967 Shelby GT-350 fastback, left side view. Green was a very popular color back in the late 60s. Check out the GT350 lettering in the white lower rocker stripe.

(from page 25 of the 1967 Collection) This Shelby has the extra inboard headlamps and hood retainer pins. These pins assure that the hood stays latched.

(from page 25 of the 1967 Collection) Lime Gold 1967 Shelby GT-350 fastback, left rear view. Check out the Shelby emblem set on the rear. We have a better shot in the next photo.

(from page 25 of the 1967 Collection) This Shelby GT-350 emblem is on the rear trunk lid. There are two others on the car. One in the grille. And another on the passenger side of the dash.

(from page 26 of the 1967 Collection) This smaller Shelby GT-350 emblem is on the front fenders, just behind the front wheels.

(from page 26 of the 1967 Collection) Two different engines where offered on the 1967 Shelby. The GT-350 came with the 289ci 306hp V8 (like this photo). The GT-500 cam with the 248ci 355hp V8 Police Interceptor engine.

(from page 26 of the 1967 Collection) On top of the driver's side inner fender liner (under the hood) is this Shelby VIN tag. It says, 67200F7A01385. Let's decode it! The 67 is for the 1967 model year. 2 is for the 289 GT-350 engine. The first 0 is for the 4-speed manual transmission. The second 0 is for a base vehicle without air conditioning nor emission control. F is for the fastback body style. 7 is for the Lime Gold paint. A is for the black interior. The last 5 digits 01385 is the sequential Shelby unit number.

(from page 26 of the 1967 Collection) The interior is black in color. There is a Cobra snake in the center of the wood steering wheel.

(from page 26 of the 1967 Collection) Here is a close-up of the original push button AM radio and extra gauges. The gauges are for oil pressure and alternator current.

(from page 26 of the 1967 Collection) A peek into the trunk. The spare tire takes up most of the room. The gas cap is in the rear of these cars.

(from page 26 of the 1967 Collection) Lime Gold 1967 Mustang fastback owned by Tom Brodersen from Davenport, Iowa. This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting July 12, 2015. It has it's original 289ci V8 engine and an automatic transmission. Tom says, "I bought it in 1980 in Anaheim, California. It is mostly original and unrestored. It does have fresh paint and I did rebuild the engine, but other than that, it is basically a survivor."

(from page 27 of the 1967 Collection) Lime Gold 1967 Mustang fastback owned by Ty from Canada. It only has 32500 miles on the odometer. Ty tells us more, "This is a Canadian car which has stayed in Ontario its whole life. The car is in complete original condition and has been painted only once. The body and undercarriage of the car has been preserved extremely well, with no rust at all. It has a 260 six cylinder that runs very well. It is hard to decide what to do with such a car being in such perfect condition."

(from page 27 of the 1967 Collection) This Mustang fastback has hubcaps and a single exhaust pipe.

(from page 27 of the 1967 Collection) The interior is black.

(from page 28 of the 1967 Collection) Lime Gold 1967 Mustang GTA hardtop with the louvered hood and black vinyl top. Vinyl tops were very popular in the 60s and 70s. Many people change to a body colored painted top when restoring cars that originally came with vinyl tops.
