(from page 24 of the 1967 Collection) Just arrived... Mustang Blazers! Limited Editions. says this Cumberland, Maryland newspaper advertisement from November 11, 1966. It says, Mustang Blazer! Hardtop favorite - different in a very special way from all other Mustang Hardtops! Lime Gold body, black top. Personal nameplate inside, Blazer nameplate outside. Built for this area only. Don't wait - order now! Optional - choice of V8 engines, new 2-way cruise-o-matic Drive. And all this for $2451.46. We are the first to show you this series of newspaper articles from the Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio area featuring a newly discovered 1967 Mustang Limited Edition called the "Mustang Blazer". We found many advertisements in local newspapers from mid November through mid December 1966. All of them featured women; therefore, we think this limited edition Mustang was designed more for women. This advertisement was placed by several dealerships: Grantsville Motor Service, Gratton Ford, Shaffer Ford, Kowell Ford, and Jim Beamer Ford in the November 11th edition of the Cumberland Evening Times of Cumberland, Maryland. The Blazer option was also on the Ford Galaxie 500.

(from page 24 of the 1967 Collection) This is another version of a newspaper advertisement for the 1967 Mustang Blazer hardtop limited edition featuring Lime Gold exterior paint, black vinyl roof, personal name plate inside, and a Blazer nameplate on the outside. We think the Blazer name plate was located just under the Mustang lettering on the front fender just behind the front wheels. This advertisement was placed by Grantsville Motor Service Company in the November 11th, 1966 edition of the Cumberland Evening Times of Cumberland, Maryland. This Mustang Blazer advertisement was also printed in color showing off the Lime Gold exterior paint of the car.

(from page 24 of the 1967 Collection) This is a third variation of the 1967 Mustang Blazer limited edition newspaper advertisement, placed by Richard Wright Ford, Point Mirion Ford, Cooley Ford, and Null Ford Sales in the December 9th, 1966 edition of the Morning Herald of Uniontown, Pennsylvania. We found many advertisement for the Mustang Blazer limited edition in Ohio, Maryland, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania from mid November through mid December of 1966.

(from page 25 of the 1967 Collection) By December 14th, the 1967 Mustang Blazer limited edition sale seems to have been over. We found this advertisement for some remaining limited edition Mustang Blazers in the December 14th, 1966 edition of the Daily Courier of Connellsville, Pennsylvania.

(from page 25 of the 1967 Collection) Lime Gold 1967 Shelby GT-350 fastback with a black interior. It still has its original 289ci engine. Lime Gold was more of a green than a gold in color. Those side scoops down low behind the doors are functional! They provide cool air to the rear brakes.

(from page 25 of the 1967 Collection) This Shelby has the extra inboard headlamps and hood retainer pins. These pins assure that the hood stays latched.

(from page 26 of the 1967 Collection) Lime Gold 1967 Mustang fastback owned by Tom Brodersen from Davenport, Iowa. This is our featured Attitude Of The Week for the week starting July 12, 2015. It has it's original 289ci V8 engine and an automatic transmission. Tom says, "I bought it in 1980 in Anaheim, California. It is mostly original and unrestored. It does have fresh paint and I did rebuild the engine, but other than that, it is basically a survivor."

(from page 27 of the 1967 Collection) Lime Gold 1967 Mustang fastback owned by Ty from Canada. It only has 32500 miles on the odometer. Ty tells us more, "This is a Canadian car which has stayed in Ontario its whole life. The car is in complete original condition and has been painted only once. The body and undercarriage of the car has been preserved extremely well, with no rust at all. It has a 260 six cylinder that runs very well. It is hard to decide what to do with such a car being in such perfect condition."

(from page 27 of the 1967 Collection) This Mustang fastback has hubcaps and a single exhaust pipe.
