rings with heritage conical lenses, and aluminum instrument panel trim. Also new is the new pony steering wheel badge. The leather of the steering wheel is color matched to the seats (stone, black charcoal, saddle, or brick red)

This is the standard V6 and GT center control column with manual air conditioning and Shaker AM/FM Stereo with single-disc CD player and clock with audio input jack. The Electronic Package (58X) upgrade adds a voice-activated navigation system with SIRIUS travel link and dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control.
Part of the standard ambient lighting on all 2010 Mustangs are lit up door sill plates. These plates change color along with the cup holders, front and rear footwells, and door map pockets.

Front view of a Torch Red 2010 Mustang V6 convertible. The front end is very different between the 2010 V6 and GT models. Although the grille opening is the same shape, the headlamps are smaller and pushed to the center on the V6, the integrated turn signals are outside, the body bar between the headlights and grille is color keyed, and the newly designed pony on the grille is chrome. Other differences include the lower grille opening which is smaller and brings in more of the body color.
Here is a straight on view of a Torch Red 2010 V6 Mustang convertible showing off the hood cowl and upper and lower grille opening. Many of the front end changes shown here come from the 2006 to 2008 Shelby Mustang with its "bumped" hood which made the grille look narrower and the upper and lower grille.
Here is the newly designed 2010 rear end with spoiler, retracting antenna, and sequentially wired tail lights.

6-gauge instrument cluster with MyColor and Ambient Lighting are both standard on all 2010 models (both V6 and GT). The MyColor feature allows changing of the dash instrument cluster to one of six or more preset colors or select one from many custom colors. The Ambient Lighting features are special lights now in the map door pockets, sill plates, rear footwells as well as the previous locations (front cup holders and both front footwells) which the driver or front passenger can change from red, orange, blue, indigo, violet, green and yellow.
Sunset Gold is a new color for 2010. This is a nice low view of the 2010 Mustang GT convertible with 18 inch wide spoke aluminum wheels. This view shows off the special GT front end which includes a wide lower grille, black dividers between the large round headlamps with integrated turn signals and the grille with fog lamps and black chrome pony emblem.
The entire lower trim of the 2010 Mustang GT is flat black. This car has the standard GT spoiler wing and color keyed mirrors.
Close-up of the 2010 Mustang faux gas cap or center read decklid emblem. The real gas door on the side hides the new Easy Fuel Capless Fuel Filler System which makes fill-ups easy and quick.
Kona Blue is another new color for 2010. This view of the 2010 Mustang GT shows off its new front grille which is unique to the GT and rear spoiler.
